DANCERS ROUNDTABLE MEETING TO BE HELD ON JUNE 23 IN PREPARATION FOR THE UPCOMING AFTRA EXHIBIT A AND SAG TV/THEATRICAL CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS

Dancers are invited to attend a special round table meeting to discuss issues facing Dancers today, in preparation for the AFTRA Exhibit A and SAG TV/Theatrical Contract Negotiations. The proposals will be presented to the Joint Wages and Working Conditions Committee. Agents who represent Dancers will be in attendance for the 1st hour of the meeting.

Proposals for this important negotiation are developed through the involvement of members like you. Make your voice heard, attend and participate in this very important process. Meetings are open to all paid-up AFTRA and SAG members. Please bring your membership card.

When: 7:00-9:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 23, 2010

All Dancers who work the AFTRA Exhibit A and SAG TV/Theatrical Contracts are invited to attend and participate.

Email suggestions: You may submit proposal recommendations by email at wandw2010@aftra.com and wandw2010@sag.org. The Wages and Working Conditions Committee will review all recommendations. Recommendations must be received by August 6, 2010.

You may also submit your ideas through the on-site suggestion boxes at AFTRA and SAG: AFTRA members may use suggestion boxes available in the 9th Floor Membership Department at the AFTRA office at 5757 Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles. SAG members may use suggestion boxes available in the first floor Member Lobby at SAG headquarters at 5757 Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles.

All proposal recommendations will be reviewed by the Joint Wages & Working Conditions Committee.

Your participation is vital to a contract negotiation responsive to the working members. Thank you for your time.

ATTENTION MEMBERS WHO ARE ACTIVELY PRODUCING: AFTRA and SAG members who are actively producing cannot attend the W&W Committee Meetings due to a conflict of interest. However, you are welcome to attend the evening W&W caucuses. Please check the union websites at www.aftra.com or SAG.org for caucus dates and times.
